Report Stranded or Injured Sea Turtle
If you come across on injured, stranded, dead or hooked sea turtle you should report to Escambia County Marine Resources at (850)426-1257 or the FWC Wildlife Alert line at 1-888-404-FWCC (3922).
Leave No Trace
Our Gulf Coast Turtle Watch volunteers reach out to locals and visitors by attending local events, supplying informational products to local business, and working with our local and state government agencies to promote awareness of the Leave No Trace campaign.
Red Lights at Night
Please use red light at night on the beach. Red and amber lighting will prevent sea turtle disorientation due to the shorter wavelength exposure. Our fundraising efforts and donations help us supply red lights to locals and visitors.
